Tarrytown Black Women's March: Continuing the Legacy of Harriet Tubman

  • 350 South Broadway Tarrytown, NY, 10591 United States (map)

"We are bringing NYS demands from all Black Women in Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Ulster County's and Countys further north as we march across the Tappan Zee March.
It seemed only right for us to march across the Tappan Zee Bridge, given the organizing in Westchester county by #100Sistas and BLM Hudson Valley, who organizes predominately on the opposite side of the Tappan Zee Bridge.

We are calling for All Black Women, Allies, Abolitionist and supporters to march with us on April 7th, 2018 . As we exercise our 1st amendment right to peacefully assemble and march in order to change the narrative about all Black Women in NYS.
If you are unable to march, and you identify as Black , there is another way to support. At the Nyack Center on 58 Depew, Nyack N.Y from 11-5pm. you can participate by having your picture taken for our #BeautifulisBlack project. Nyack Center will also have healing space, food and water."
